• Notes

  He came to New England before his father and was admitted to Boston church Ma rch 22, 1635 and made freeman May 6, 1635. On August 15, 1641, he was dismiss ed to Concord, Mass. Under the instructions of his father he obtained a mini sterial education and was licensed to preach the Gospel and ordained at Marsh field, Mass. in 1642/3. When his father died in 1658/9 he was dismissed to C oncord and installed as minister there. On March 5, 1694, the town voted him , during his lifetime, an annuity of 30 pounds per year.
