• Notes

  He was educated at St. John's College, Cambridge, England where he obtained t he M.A. degree in 1608. He succeeded his father, in 1609, as rector at Odell and served there for twenty years. He came to New England in the ship Susan and Ellen in 1635, first living at Cambridge , Massachusetts. In the next y ear he went to Concord where he died.
