      - 1485 - Fought for Henry Tudor at Bosworth, his tactics helped defeat Richard III.

      - 1487 - Commanded Henry Tudor's victorious army at Stoke.

      - Remained Henry VII's "principal servant for both war & for peace".

      - Something of a hero, a fine soldier with a shrewd grasp of tactics & strategy.
