2. "The Christian Intelligencer" clipping ca July 1888 article reads:
"CHESEBRO. -- Albert Chesebro, June 21, 1888, in Jersey City, NJ
At a meeting of the Consistory of the Greenville Reformed Church of Jersey City, NJ., July 3, 1888, the following resolutions were unanimously
adopted in memory of the late Albert Chesebro.
Whereas, Although God in His wise Providence has removed from our number Elder Albert Chesebro, therefore be it
Resolved, That we hereby record our high appreciation of his love and faithful service in the Church of God. As a man he was a shining
light in the community; as an elder he is worthy of double honor.
Resolved, That while bowing in submission to a kind heavenly Father, we shall cherish the memory of his quiet, consistent, Christian life,
and shall be inspired by it until we shall meet him in the General Assembly and Church of the First-born, whose names are written in heaven.
Resolved, That we extend to the bereaved family and mourning friends our warmest sympathies, ever praying that the Comforter will abide
with them forever.
Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be sent to the bereaved widow, and that they be published in THE CHRISTIAN INTELLIGENCER.
