• Notes

  - Owner & proprietor of brick factory; "steenfabiant" Owned a brick factory that is just over the river from Zaltbommel. Wim sold it when his younger son and heir died in 1960, remaining a director of the company well into his 70s. The company is now part of .... Wim was protestant and Lygia was Catholic. Their marriage was opposed by both families. They were married in Brussels to avoid embarrassment in 's Hertogenbosch. The van Lookeren Compagne family tree is in NP46 There is also a handwritten version which goes back much further in the CBG, by some chap called Zimmerman.
