      Graduated from Klamath Union High School. Attended Business colleges in San Francisco and Klamath Falls and the Oregon Institute of Technology at Klamath Falls. Served in the Army during World War II. Retired in 1944 with total disability (broken neck). Helped organize the law library at the Klamath Co., Courthouse. Head librarian for 17 years. Active in Disabled American Veterans and department commander in 1962-63. Active in LDS Church. Ran for County Treasurer and County Clerk without success.

      Retired in 1977.



      Ward's Klamath Funeral Home. Funeral services held on a Friday at 10:00 hours at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Bishop Merlin Ives officiated. Singers: Rose Ellen Budden, Dorothy North, Edith Rock, Shirley Shaffer singing 'Rock of Ages,' and 'Abide with Me.'

      Organist Donna Skudstad. Services at the grave site. Bearers: Carrol Balderson, Michael Clark, Ralph Dauster, Ken Farmer, Lyle Green, Ernest Weitzel.

      Burial at the White City National Cemetery, Jackson Co., OR..
