Their home church would have been the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel at The Forks, which was superseded in the 1890s by St Raphael's Church at Blackville. Unfortunately, I do not have ready access to the church records, but they exist and are indexed, as I recall. I have assembled the following for you. There would almost certainly be more to be learned from the church records, later census returns, etc. Northumberland Co. A lumber camp occupied by Daniel Mahoney, his three sons, and a young man named NOONAN was destroyed by fire recently, and all but the former burned to death. Mahoney, it is said, left camp for home for a short time and when he returned the camp was in ashes. among which he discovered to his horror the bones of the four young men (Daily Telegraph, Saint John, NB, 7 March 1874) 1881 CENSUS: Bridget Noonan, widow, b.
