  Burke's Peerage, page 1590, Cokayne's Complete Peerage XI-145: A record of Sir David Graham, knight of Kincardine and Old Montrose, who reportedly died 4 April 1373, lists a daughter Margaret, who married Hugh, 6th Earl of Ross before 1329; however, it says her parentage is doubtful. "Sir David was active in 1373, 44 years after Margaret's first marriage. That she was his daughter seems unlikely. This doubt is re-inforced by the exceptional number of generations in the lineage through Margaret between Elizabeth Keith and Sir David (9), as compared with 6 between Elizabeth Keith and Sir David going through Sir Patrick Graham."
