  (NX71361) L/CPL, E COMO AASC, 4th Mobile Ambulance Convoy, and 2/13 Infantry Battalion, in World War II. He served in New Guinea, Borneo, and the Middle East. Prior to the war, he worked at Pete Island Mental Institution, then decided to work his way around Australia.
