      En 1768, il est major, à Toulon, où le Régiment Royal Corse est appelé à se rendre en Corse, pour renforcer les troupes françaises.
      Lieutenant-colonel à la Légion Corse en 1771.
      Créé comte en France en 1778, avec érection en comté du domaine de Chjavari.
      En 1784, il est nommé colonel commandant au Régiment Royal Corse.
      Maréchal de camp en 1788.
      Commandant de la 23ème Division Militaire en Corse en 1790.
      Lieutenant-général en 1793.
      Retraité, il se retire à Tournon en 1795, où il meurt en 1800.
