- Co-ruler of East-Macedonia
Founder of the Kutlumus monastery on Athos, he was co-ruler of East-Macedonia and ruled alone in Pristina, Vardar, Serbhai and Velbuzd. Was the heir of the despot Oliver and, in 1371, he had to acknowledge the Turkish overlordship. The name of his first wife is not known but, about 1387, he married his second wife, Eudokia Megale Komnene, daughter of the Emperor Alexios III.
