  came to America aboard the ship "Achilles" sailing from Bristol, England and arrived Boston, MA 1819. Family story was that he was a Toll Collector in Newry, N.I. Information on this line obtained via the Prodigy network (Jan. 17, 1993) from: Patricia McCully Rankin (Prodigy ID: TGKG12A) 1799 64th Drive South West Palm Beach, FL 33415 She is a descendent of John Courtenay (Half brother to Robert Graham Courtenay) John Henry Courtenay's first spouse was Esther Rhames of Dublin. issue: one son - John Courtenay John Henry's Courtenay's second spouse is Anna Marie Graham, the daughter of an English shipbuilding family of Liverpool. (see "The Courtenay Family - Some Branches in America" Library of Congress #64-16058 page 12.) issue: Robert Graham Courtenay, Emma Courtenay of Louisville, KY. On page 16 of "The Courtenay Family" it states that "John Henry Courtenay came to Illinois, USA in 1818 or earlier, with an English group. He left 3 children and his descendents are the 'Louisville, KY. Line'".
