She worked in housekeeping at Latah Care Center from 1956 to 1962 and then was employed in the laundry at Paradise Villa (now Moscow Care Center) from 1962 until she retired in 1980. She enjoyed quilting and crafts such as sewing, knitting and crocheting, gardening, cooking and family dinners. She was a member of the Viola Community Club. She was survived by two daughters, Linda Lue Robinson of Viola and Cheryl Bickel of Post Falls, ID, her nephew Judson Troy (who she raised like a son), 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
