  Notes JAMES SCRIVNER served in the War of 1812 as a Private in the 5th Regiment of Booth's East Tennessee in 1816. By 1822, JAMES had moved his family to Jefferson County, Tennessee. Records show him working on a road with ELIJAH CARSON and with JOSHUA NELSON in 1838 and 1839. The Jefferson County probate records are missing for the years 1846-1850, about the time JAMES died, so no will is available.
