- Notes
WILLIAM SCRIVNER apparently lived close to the border between Mississippi and Louisiana. Around the turn of the century, WILLIAM moved his family to Bell County, Texas. WILLIAM SCRIVNER is said to have liked the "bottle" a little too much. He and his wife, MARY, were divorced about 1914 and she married a man named STRINGER.
