      I LIEUT COLONEL CHARLES JAMES FOX of the London Salvage Corps of the above address hereby will and bequeath everything of which I die possessed absolutely to Miss GERTRUDE ELBOURNE of 64 Watling Street E C 4 for her sole use and benefit she knows my wishes and I appoint her sole executrix - C J FOX"

      The Probate Act states that Charles James Fox was of 22 Cadogan Court, Chelsea and formerly of 64 Watling Street in the City of London, and that he died at 22 Cadogan Court on 18 October 1930.
      On 11 December 1930 administration of his estate was granted to his sole executrix, namely Miss Gertrude Elbourne of 67 Marloes Road, Kensington.
