There was an early hospital - sanitarium for TB in Margate. Since this was a specialty of Dr Charles James Fox, he may have been studying there, or at least gaining practical experience.
Anne Mary was living at New Windsor.
The marriage took place at New Windsor.

Notes |
- Note from Emily his daughter: Internist Consumption City Hospital te Londen.
Through family circomstances Dr. Ch.J. Fox, aunt Mitchel (Mary) and aunt Sophy were sent to France and brought up as catholics by De Tremouille, a french lady.
- Note from Sarah Ann Fox(-Smith): As he was the illegitimate son of Joseph, his uncle, Joseph's brother Edward Long Fox almost certainly paid for his education at Edinburgh, since the M.D. thesis (1825) is dedicated to "his patron, Edward Long Fox".(from correspondence of Dr. N.D. Richards (a medical historian) with Hubert Fox).
Note from me: According to the same note Joseph Fox, his father, "accumulated a fortune full and adequate to supply his needs". I don't think the money of Edward Long (brother of Joseph) was needed to pay for his education in France and Edinburgh. Joseph lived in Greatwood Cottage with 4 servants (see his Last Will)
- Lived at Ramsgate, Signed his last will 31 March 1871
Obituary. "Lancet" 1874 p.749.
- 1839: Tried to be elected to the staff of the London Hospital but lost the election to Dr Little
