  • Notes
    • Kelley's "The Ancestry of Eve of Leinster" (The Genealogist, 1980) I:22

Ban Shenchus 189:12 & 228:13 identify her as the daughter of Echraid and an
unspecified Gilla Padraig and mother of Diarmaid m. Mael na mBo, Donmall &
Amargen O'Moore, Echdond m. Dunlaing, and Aibeand ingen Dunlaing.

This Gilla Padraig could hardly be any other than the king of Ossory, who
appears to have been the first in Ireland to bear the name. Moreover, the same
Gilla Padraig is mentioned in the previous entries in BS.
