This is the last Will and Testament of me

Sarah Guion of Weston Super Mare in the County of Sommerset Widow

being in sound mind. I direct all my just debts funeral and

Testamentary expenses to be paid by my executors hereinafter named

out of my residuary estate hereinafter bequathed. I appoint my

friends John Tory of 41 Norfolk Street, Strand, London and Charles Pooley

of Raglan Circus Weston Super Mare Sommerset to be Trustees and

Executors of this my Will and I give to the said John Tory the sum of

one hundred vifty pounds Consols and to the said Charles Pooley

the sum of one hundred pounds Consols I give and bequath to my

dear niece Ann Fox wife of Charles James Fox M.D. of Finsbury Circus

London two thousand pounds Consols and to each of their five children Charles

James Fox Gardiner Guion Fox Henry Edward Fox Frederic William

Fox and Emily Josephine the Wife of Monsieur Albers of Grave in

Holland the sum of four hundred pounds Consols I give and bequeath

to my goddaughter Sarah Guion Payne the sum of one hundred pounds

Consols. I give and bequath to Madame Guyon Widow of the late

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I give and bequeath

to Henry Faulkner son

X  J.W.Faulkner aforesaid

the sum of £ 100 Consols

 

 

 

Hungarian General Richard Guyon the sum of one hundred pounds

Consols and to her daughter Mary Ann Guyon the sum of one

and hundred fifty pounds Consols and to her son Edgar Guyon the sum of one

hundred pounds Consols. I give and bequeath to my old friends Jane

d' Arcy, Kate d' Arcy and Charlotte  d' Arcy daughters of the late General

d' Arcy the sum of twenty pounds Consols each and to the said

Kate d' Arcy my Crestring. I give and bequeath to Captain Henry

Trollope of East Deane Hanly the sum of sixty pounds Consols I give

and bequeath to Mrs Elizabeth EdwardsWife of Captain Edwards of

Ireshford Somerset the sum of fifty pounds Consols. I give and bequeath

to Sarah Newton and Amelia Newton of Ireshford aforesaid spinsters

the sum of twenty five pounds Consols each I give and bequeath

to my dear and constant friend Joshua Wilson Faulkner of the

Phillipines Kent the sum of one hundred pounds Consols X and to

his Daughter Mrs Shand the sum of one hundred pounds Consols

and to Edith Cowling and Edrica Cowling Daughters of the said Mrs

Shand by her first Husband the sum of fifty pounds Consols each

and my miniature likeness of her late father

and to the said Edrica Curling my gilt papier Machee box I give

and bequeath to my good and kind servant Emma Catharine Pullen

 

 
to be aspunged

if living with me at the time of my decease in addition to her coages

the sum of five hundred pounds Consols my morning apparel and

such trinkels not otherwise disposed of as shall be selected for her by

my said executors but in case she shall have left my service then

and in heir of the forthgoing bequest to her I give to her the sum of

One hundred and fifty pounds Consols I give and bequeath to Mrs

Burrows wife of Col. Burrows of Bourton Court Somerset the sum

of One hundred pounds Consols I give and bequeath to my Nephew

George Ponsony Lloyd the sum of Three hundred pounds Consols

I give and bequeath to Mrs Harrick Wife of Mr Harrick of the

Registry office Dublin the sum of One hundred pounds Consols I give

and bequeath to George Hildreth Navy agent of 41 Norfolk Street

Strand London the sum of fifty pounds Consols  I give and bequeath to the

Treasurer for the time being of the British and Foreign Bible Society

London the sum of Two hundred pounds Consols to be applied for the

benefit and purposes of that Institution I give and bequeath to the

Treaurer for the time being of the Shipwrecked Mariners Society London

 
 
 

the sum of One hundred pounds Consols to be applied for the benefit

and purposes of that Instirution I give and bequeath to the Treasurer

 

 

for the time being of the Sailors Home in London the sum of One

hundred pounds Consols to be applied for the benefit and purposes

of that Institution  I give and bequeath to the Treasurer for the time

being of the Hospital in Weston Super Mare aforesaid the sum of

fifty pounds Consols to be applied for the benefit and purposes of that

Institution  I direct each of the five last mentioned legacies to be paid

out of my monies and funds only and not out of any lands

tenements or hereditaments and all the legacies hereinbefore given shall

be paid free of legacy duty I give devise and bequath all the rest

residue and remainder of my real and personal estate property

monies goods chattels and effects of every sort and description subject

to the aforesaid legacies except charitable legacies which are to be paid

out of my money and funds only and subject to the payment of

my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses unto

his heirs executors administrators and

assigns according to the nature thereof respectivily I  give and devise

to the said John Tory and Charles Pooley and their heirs all

 
 
 

 

 

Estates vested on me as a Trustee or Mortgage but nevertheless upon

the trusts and subject to the equities affecting the same. I revoke all

former Wills by me at any time before made and delcare this

only to be my last will  In witness hereof I the said Sarah Guion

the Testatrix have hereunto subscribed my name

the day of                One thousand eight hundred and sixty seven

the Testatrix as said for her last Will and testament in the

presence of us present at the same time who at her

request in her presence and in the presence of each

other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses
