of Austin ffriars London surgeon do make this my last

will and testamentin manner following that is to say

ffirst I order and direct all my just debts ffuneral

expenses and the charges of proving this mytoile to be

fully paid and satisfied Hoin I desire that Mrs Margaret

Hopkins of Cavendish court in Honnisdit?? may six

Bury and if she shall surviveme and I bequeath

to her the sum of twenty pounds over and above

what the Expense of the funeral may be I?????

give to my Nephew Richard Grindall my siver

watch with the gold chain and soals to it and my

large silver cuprequesting him always to remember

the Motto upon the side of it ""

since it was by Captain Norris's being in the old

Baswaron I got that cup also I give to my said Nephew Richard Grindall my ffamily set of silver

castors and my blue and white service of Table China

which I kept in the lower part of my Rosowood Cabinet

in the picture room Hence I give and bequeath to my Niece Rachel Holt so much I money as Will on the

day of my decease purchase in three pounds per cent

sufficient to produce by the Interst  thereof the sum of

twenty pounds a year and to oath of my Nieces Ann

Grindall and Jane Grindall so much ..... as will

at that time purchase in the same Annuities a Sum

in those Anuities sufficient to produce by the ...

Interest thereof eighteen pounds a year and to my

Niece Elizabeth Grindall so much money as will

purchase in those anuities a sum sufficient to produce

by the Interest thereof sixteen pounds a year ....

I do hereby give and bequeath unto my said Nephew

Richard Grindall and to William Ramsey and John Dickinson the executors herinafter appointed of this my

will so much money as will purchase a sum in thethree

per cent consolidated Bank anuitiesat the time of my

decease sufficient to produce by the interest thereof

sixteen pounds per annum In trust to lay out and

invest the same in the Names of them or the survivors

or survivor of them in the purchase of the three pounds per

..... consolidated Bank anuities and when the

same shall be so invested I order and direct that they

John Dickinson or the survivorrs or survivor of them

or the Executors or Admors of such survivor do and

shall will and truly pay or cause to be paid all the

Interest Dividends and profits of the said fund unto

my Niece Sarah Maul for and during the time of

her natural life notwithstanding her being married

to her present or any future husband and I do hereby

order and direct that the receipt and Receipts of my

said Niece Sarah Maul alone and of no other person

and without the receipt or ............ of her present or

any future husband whom she may happen to ....

good and sufficient Receipt and discharge for all the

Interest Dividends and profits of the said Trust fund and it

is my Mind and Will and I do further order and direct

and declare that no part of such Interest Dividends or

Management Debts fforfeitures Creditors or Engagements of

the present or any future husband of my said Niece

Brewer the sum of twenty pounds apiece in acknowledgment

of my friendship for them and of the Trouble they

will have in the execution of this my will Hence i give

unto each of my servants Ann Upson and Charles

provided they shall be in my service t the time of my

decease but not otherwiseand whereas I have now two

thousand pounds new South Sea anuities standing in

my Name now I do hereby order and divert Executors

to sell so much of my long annuities as will produce a

sum sufficient to buy so much more South Sea annuities

her natural life and from and afterthe drecease of

the survivor of the said Hannah Hopkins and

Margaret Hopkins I give and bequeath unto

Letitia Hopkins sister of the said Hanna Hopkins

the yearly sum of sixty pounds part of the Interest of the

said South Sea annuities for and during her natural

life and when and as any of them the  said Hannah

Hopkins Margaret Hopkins and Letitia Hopkins shall

depart this life I order and divert that all and every

part of the said South Sea annuities which shall

be more than sufficient to produce by the by the Interest the

yearly sum given to the survivors and survivor

of them shall be sold out and the money arriving by

sake thereof I give unto my said Nephew Richard

Grindall his Executors admors and assigns for over

and from and after the decease of all of

said Hannah Margaret and Letitia Hopkins I give

and bequeath the whole and every part of the said

South Sea annuities to be invested as aforesaid unto

my said nephew Richard Grindall his Executors Admors

and Assignsforever I give and bequeath unto the

said Hannah Hopkins one hundred pounds to be paid

her within two months after my decease and all such

goods moneys effects and prpoperty of mine as may be in

her possession at my decease Item I direct that one

hundred pounds per annum part of my long annuities

shall be transfered into the hands of my executors

and I give and bequeath the said yearly sum of one

hundred pounds long annuities unto my ffriend Elizabeth

Manning of Islington during her life and from and

after her decease I give the same unto my said Nephew

Richard Grindall his executors admons and assigns for

ever Item I give unto the said Elizabeth Manning

one hundrd pounds to be paid her within two months

after my decease and also all such monies property or

effects of mine as may be in her possession at my decease

and I direct executors to execute powers of attorney

these sums themselves without going to my Executors to
